Quickstart
Plan a zero-cost stack on the website, from the API or from your coding agent.
On the website
- Open clearvia.app/plan.
- Pick a preset, such as SaaS app, or choose each need.
- Set your constraints: turn on It will make money if the project is commercial, and choose where your users are.
- Optionally add expected usage, such as monthly active users, database size or emails per month, to check each pick against its free limits.
- Read the verdict. $0 a month means every need has a free plan with no end date that fits the usage you stated. Each pick lists why it was chosen, what to watch and the alternatives.
The plan lives in the page address, so you can bookmark or share it.
From the API
curl -X POST https://api.clearvia.app/api/zero/plan \
-H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"needs":["postgres","auth","transactional-email"],"constraints":{"commercial":true},"scale":{"monthlyActiveUsers":1000,"databaseGb":0.5}}'See the REST API for every endpoint.
From your coding agent
Add the MCP server, for example in Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http clearvia https://api.clearvia.app/mcpThen ask: "Plan a free stack for a SaaS app with Postgres, auth and email that will make money." See the MCP server for other clients and the tools it offers.
For language models
clearvia.app/llms.txt indexes the API, the docs, every category and every free plan.
Every catalog, category, offer, provider, comparison and change feed page also has a Markdown version: add .md to its address, as in clearvia.app/offers/neon-free.md, or request the page with Accept: text/markdown. It carries the same facts as the page, with each quote and its source written out.
Compare plans
Put two to four free plans side by side at clearvia.app/compare/{a}-vs-{b}, with offer slugs in alphabetical order, for example Neon Free vs Supabase Free. Every row lines up the same fact across the plans, with the quote behind each value. Start from clearvia.app/compare to pick plans or open the leading plans of a category; offer pages link to a comparison with their closest alternatives.
Follow changes
Reviewed changes to free plans are published as Atom feeds you can add to a feed reader, a chat channel or a CI job:
- every change: clearvia.app/changes.xml
- one provider:
clearvia.app/providers/{slug}/changes.xml, for example Supabase - one free plan:
clearvia.app/offers/{slug}/changes.xml
Add ?kind=change to follow only providers' own changes to their plans, or ?kind=correction for corrections of Clearvia's records, as in clearvia.app/changes.xml?kind=change. Feeds under /zh-CN/ are in Chinese.
