Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Clearvia, provided by Clearvia Pte. Ltd., Singapore.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Clearvia Pte. Ltd., a private limited company incorporated in Singapore ("Clearvia", "we", "us"). By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it, and "you" includes that organization.

2. The Service

Clearvia (the "Service") helps you find, compare and keep track of the official free plans of software services offered by other companies ("providers"). It includes:

  • the catalog of free plans, with the quote, source page and freshness behind each fact;
  • the stack planner and the repository check;
  • the change feed;
  • the public API, the MCP server and the catalog export; and
  • the documentation, the console and, when we offer them, paid plans.

3. Information, not advice

The catalog describes plans that providers offer and control. We take each fact from the provider's own pages and show when it was last checked, but providers can change their plans, limits and terms at any time and without telling us, so a fact can be out of date or wrong by the time you read it.

  • Plans, rankings, risks and headroom estimates are information to help you choose. They are not legal, financial, tax or other professional advice, and they are not a promise that a plan will stay free, suit your project or be available to you.
  • Before you rely on a plan, read the provider's current pricing and terms. The provider's terms govern your use of its service and any fees it charges.
  • We are not responsible for the services that providers offer, for their decisions about your accounts, or for charges they make.

4. No affiliation

Provider names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify their plans. Unless a listing says otherwise, providers have not reviewed or endorsed what we say about them, and we are not affiliated with them. Clearvia never opens or operates provider accounts for you, never pools or resells free quotas, and does not list unofficial relays.

5. Referrals, sponsorship and verified listings

Some links are referral links that may earn us a fee, and providers may pay for clearly labelled sponsored placements or for a review of their listing. Every such link and placement is labelled. Payment is never an input to the planner's rankings, and no one can pay to change a fact: corrections need evidence from the provider's own pages, as described in the methodology.

6. Using the API, the MCP server and the data

You may use the Service, the public API, the MCP server and the catalog export in your own projects and tools and in software you build, including commercial software, under these Terms.

  • Stay within the published rate limits. For bulk use, use the catalog export rather than crawling the website or the API.
  • When you show catalog facts to others, keep the source links and freshness that come with them, credit Clearvia with a link to clearvia.app, and do not present the facts as your own verification.
  • Keep any referral disclosure that comes with a result next to the result.
  • Do not sell or license the catalog, or a substantial part of it, as a dataset, and do not use it to build a competing catalog, without our written agreement.

7. Files you check

The repository check reads the files you send, such as package.json, requirements.txt or .env.example, to recognise the services a project uses. Files are processed in memory to produce the result and are not stored. Values are used only to recognise hosts and are never returned, but you should not send secrets to any online service: send .env.example rather than a real .env. You must have the right to share the files you send.

8. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • probe, attack, overload or disrupt the Service, or circumvent its rate limits, access controls or security measures;
  • use the Service to create provider accounts automatically, to get around a provider's limits, verification or terms, or to run several free accounts where a provider forbids it;
  • submit false corrections, or impersonate a provider or another person;
  • use the Service in breach of the law or of the rights of others; or
  • resell access to the Service without our written agreement.

9. Accounts

Some features, such as saved stacks and paid plans, need an account. You must give accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us promptly at legal@clearvia.app if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account and within your organizations, including the roles you assign to members.

10. Paid plans

The catalog, the planner, the repository check, the public API and the MCP server are free. When we offer paid plans, their prices and features are shown before you subscribe. Paid plans are billed in US dollars, in advance for each billing period, and fees exclude taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are handled by our payment processor or merchant of record; where a merchant of record sells the subscription to you, its terms of sale also apply to that purchase. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated at checkout. You can cancel at any time, and the plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.

11. Changes to the Service

We may change, add or remove features. We will give reasonable notice before a change that materially reduces a paid plan during a period you have paid for.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these Terms, if payment is overdue, or if needed to protect the Service, its users, providers or third parties, or to comply with law.

13. Intellectual property

We own the Service, its software and design, and the catalog as a compilation, including our summaries, classifications and translations. Quotes belong to the providers that published them and are shown as evidence. If you send us feedback or a correction, we may use it without obligation to you.

14. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service and all information in it are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, availability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that a plan described in the catalog exists, is free, or will remain free.

15. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. We are not liable for charges, suspensions or losses caused by a provider, or for decisions you make in reliance on information about a provider's plan. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in that period and 100 Singapore dollars. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

16. Indemnity

You will indemnify Clearvia against third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account owners by email before the changes take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the updated Terms apply.

18. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms.

19. General

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Clearvia about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Failing to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or to a successor to our business. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails in case of any inconsistency.
